On our calendar we have field trips listed. Please note that permissions and costs of field studies will be located in your parent portal account. Our district is moving towards being paperless and having everything that you need located in one place for our parents. We want to help and support you during this transition. If you have lost your password, please contact our Student Data Coordinator (Mrs. Zimmerman) for a reset. Thank you


October 8th - Cookie Dough Pick Up 

Killian Elementary Cookie Dough/Product Fundraiser pickup has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 from 2:00-6:00 in the gym. Please note this is our ONLY DAY OF PICKUP! We do not have access to the school freezer/storage to accommodate orders not picked up. So please make arrangements to have your child's order picked up on this day. Thank you for supporting our awesome school!"

Parent Conferences/Half Day 11:30 am

 Parent Conference Day is Friday, September 27th. If you are not scheduled on this day please be sure you have an appointment on another day. Some parents may have already had their conference. Thank you

September 13th Bullying...Not in our School Summit

We want to celebrate our school social worker Mrs. Fleischer and Kindness Crew that attended the "Bullying...Not in our School Summit" hosted by the South Carolina Department of Education.

September 26th- Interim Day


Interim Day is when parents make sure to check parent portal for updated grades and progress of their children. Students will have 3 more weeks after this day to maintain or improve their grades before we send home Report Cards. Please make sure you have created a parent portal account or have seen our Student Data Coordinator for the information needed to do so.

Safety Concern


Please have students exit your vehicles on the right side of the vehicle to avoid dangerous situations where students jump out of a car while other cars are moving around the car rider line in the opposite lane. Thank you

Our district has decided to close schools for safety reasons as we track hurricane Dorian on Thursday Sept. 5th. All before and after school activities have been cancelled. If you are not receiving notices from Libby Roof, please be sure to update your contact information in PowerSchool.
