A message from our School Nurse

This is a reminder that all medications must be picked up from school health rooms by noon Thursday, June 6, 2019. Medications are not kept in the health room over the summer.  Please pick up all over-the-counter and prescription medications (inhalers, Epi-pens, other prescription medications) from the health room by Thursday, June 6th at 12 noon.  Any medications left after 12 noon will be destroyed. We cannot send medications home with students

Half Days are the 5th-6th 11 am dismissal

Very Important Updates

Testing

May 17th-22nd

The last day of scheduled State Testing is for 4th and 5th Graders on May 21st.  Students that were late or missed prior days of testing will make up test Friday the 17th, Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd.  Please continue to bring students to school on time to ensure that we can stick to the schedule. We appreciate your help thus far, our students are doing great!

Promotion Ceremonies

May 30th and May 31st

5th Grade Promotion will take place at the District Auditorium located at Richland Northeast Highschool from 9:30 am - 11am on May 30th

Kindergarten Promotion will take place in the Multipurpose Room on May 31st at 9am

May 14th - 16th and May 21st

State Testing is will take place on these dates. Please make sure that your child is well rested, reporting to school on time and not absent on these very important days.  We encourage all students to do their personal best!

Come join Be Great Academy this summer for award-winning fun programs focused on achieving academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development!  Participants will receive breakfast, lunch and snack. Our curriculum focuses on STEAM projects and leadership skills all while providing a safe place for your child for the summer. Our Adventure Summer Camp will begin and run from June 10th - August 2nd from 7:30 am-6:30 pm at multiple location in the Midlands. Slots for our award-winning programs are filling fast.

The 1-mile run will be held on Friday, May 17th and will start at 6:30pm

on Main Street in downtown Columbia.
